I read a great article recently in Oprah Magazine- “Five Pieces of Advice Everyone Ignores (but Shouldn’t).” I almost flipped right past it, arrogantly thinking, “I’m sure I already do all of these things but thanks anyway Oprah.”
But then I saw in the bottom right of the page – the first piece of advice: What leaves you feeling bad, do less of? What leaves you feeling good, do more of?
I immediately started making a mental list of both.
Rubbing my dog’s belly = feel good
Eating the bread basket = feel bad
Taking the subway or walking instead of cabbing it = feel good
Checking my phone during dinner with someone I care about = feel bad
Spending my Wednesday nights with you ladies at DivaDance = feel GREAT!
When people ask me to describe DivaDance – I always punctuate the overview with a simple, “It just feels good!”
In the spirit of this, take a few moments today to come dance, sweat, and FEEL GOOD with me!
